They would have been working on protecting the virtual square from being rape culture's most vicious and immediate means of viral contagion ages ago. They would have taken even the most elementary steps to prevent being the primary platform for the sexual blackmail of children. (Can't be done when you've subcontracted content moderation at a 1.00/hr in Africa.) They fought any reform instead. Meaning ground zero for grooming for child sexual abuse isn't within the family anymore, the connectivity and medium facilitating this societal malaise (and astronomically compounding it, and don't give me any pretension this isn't accepted societal napalm) is social media platforms and the world wide web. Talk about bringing people together. They didn't even attempt to stop this. When this social media framework was fueling rape culture in a way that destroyed women and children, Facebook/Google didn't give a f***, and there was no significant public groundswell for the protection of women and children, at least you didn't hear about it. Silicon Valley were only interested in maintaining the status quo. This reaches back its root to the most essential fundamental mechanism for economic harvest in such a society, which is the commodification of reproduction. A society dependent on an infiinite growth economy is in fact dependent on the commodification of reproduction. That is why it makes no moves against rape culture except when it clashes with the market, because rape culture is an integral component, from a behavioural structural standpoint, in the commodification of reproduction, in that it is the reproductive act enforced by brute force and enforces the devaluation of women as non persons. It is a societal dictate of fear meant to coerce and govern the reproductive sex. An amoral market that has already structurally commodified humanity at its most essential level (reproduction, this is what an exponential human population growth rate actually functionally is, as it is also structurally dependent on the abrogation of female selection moderating the number of pregnancies, which is the only way you get a society with over half of its pregnancies being unwanted) is why its end game is to convert and reduce, via "social media", human social interaction into nothing but a harvestable asset for market purposes, and only allowed the development of the internet in that context, that of privatized monopolized fiefs harvesting human data, masquerading as free speech while dedicated to ultimately obliterating it by unnacountable moderation.
With an amoral market dictating the commodification of human social interaction, an explosion in child porn is simply an inevitable adjunct, because the commodification of social interaction is moderated by amorality, namey the evacuation of morality is certain when market forces concertedly deliberately reduce interaction to being mediated by amoral market forces, which is what you de facto have when the platforms for social interaction are privatized social media. Arguably in hindsight Twitter's largest defining trait will be how it ultimately weaponized cancel culture to the extent of creating a tweet archive where countless mere individual tweets tracking back decades ago could prove career/life destroying, turning out to be nothing more or less than a vehicle that successfully transferred witch hunt mentality to the modern world, basically inverting back to tyranny of prevailing opinion (mob rule) mediated by the new modern tribalism based on ideological faction. If online social media censorship had been a matter of protecting society from its worst traits, groundswell reactionism advocating censorship would have begun at the obvious destruction of the lives of women and children, not the risk of the rise of "fake news", which has only arrived as a contingency in protecting media monopoly conglomerates control of the non-stop propaganda spigot they wield over the general population. That social media platforms de facto orchestrate a preferential weaponized mob, (whether that's due to its mirroring capacity of a deformed culture, or somewhat orchestrated, the effect is no different) is indicated by the targets of cancel culture mirroring Silicon Valley's decidedly selective online censorship, which is happening with South America (including government outlets), leftwing websites and radical feminists (for the benefit of a MtF historic online predator of female minors; -"Gallus Mag" lost eight years of research for identifying this behaviour by taking screenshots of public posts. (The blog was erased within 24 hours after identifying JY by their active male and female public profiles which were public record and screenshoting public posts from the past that were predatory of minor girls; -all acceptable on Facebook.) In other words Wordpress and Twitter opted to act together in concert to censor the safeguarding of children.
We are already well past the stage where even our social movements are entirely engineered to produce the requisite outcomes. This has been the dominate nature of protest and activist movements for the past thirty years at least (signified by the subversion of the environmental movement by oligarchic funding into climate activism, which is the ideological capture of environmentalism by neoliberalism via their fake left to effectively keep it permanently marginalized), -ever since the first massive astroturf campaign to stop an entire province (B.C.) from protecting its virgin forest, which was orchestrated by Burson Marstellar on behalf of thirteen logging corporations, a significant quotient of these being foreign multinationals. You society is well past the stage of being a curated imposition dictated by market forces, which means it is fascist at its most fundamental level. Your climate movement has already been managed to perform the last market capture of the natural world (and your labour at the level of energy production) for massive profits.
Thanks to the neoliberal market capture of social interaction combined with its predication of an exponential growth economy dependent on the total commodification of reproduction, America has more in common with the fundamentalist factions and regimes it warms its cockles with because women's suppression by men for the sake of the abrogation of human selection by females is baked into all religious fundamentalism in terms of all three monotheistic religions. US society is already in a stratified state of permanent division where ideology, succesfully reduced to identity politics, has proven itself nothing more or less the the well spring identity of newly modernized tribalism. That is literally all neoliberal society has succeeded in producing since its collective imposition in the Reagan/Thatcher eras since the 70's. The totemization of individualism running cover for the neoliberalization of society (wholesale capitulation to society being dictated by amorality in being dictated by an amoral market) has met its requisite result.
You have to admit this merges very uncomfortably with the vested interests of the "great reset" in terms of the concerted destruction of social ritual and gathering it has taken us, (in some instances), millenia to construct, with the concerted replacement of all group interaction and purchasing in a way that negates personal interaction by taking place on social media platforms. That this is the most overt effect of the COVID-19 shutdown is indicative in the windfall produced for the planet's biggest billionaire monopolists who were produced by and large by these social media platforms, whereas small business has been utterly decimated; (-at a trillion dollars' profit, if you include monopolist big box retail (how harrowing a thought is it that Walmart effectively governs food production in the US), which already decimated small business). The trajectory is to make the overwhelming majority of humanity a commodity for harvest by an extreme wealth minority, a minority who don't even produce, which means their actual production is predicated on wage slavery. We are talking about interface for either product or harvesting human social interaction. These are among the top tier of United States' biggest wealth producers on the world stage today (Amazon and Facebook). Google has so mugh weight "it has a private sanctions regime against smaller countries". It is not a signifier of health and wealth, it is a signifier of having run out of any substance left to commodify, aside and apart from the exploits to be had performing as an inverted breakdown of society, which is why "The Great Reset" is geared towards the financialization of "ecosystem services", namely the final commodification of every aspect of nature we can financialize for harvest. Why should it maintain and continue?
If this shift to online removed interaction due to isolation/shutdown were beneficial overall, it wouldn't have immediately resulted in an exponential explosion in the online grooming of children for sexual abuse, coincident and contingent on mass resort on a mass scale to social interaction forcibly relegated and confined to social medial platforms. They can give us no pretension that online interaction is superior to person to person/combined group interaction, and not societally detrimental, when forced confinment to it has results this devastating and this immediate. Their resistance to any prevention insured this state of affairs. The same thing happened when the unhindered illegal trafficking in wildlife on Facebook also increased due to COVID shutdown measures (note the implication here is that is it happening through Facebook advertising, which again means, Facebook is not only incapable of registering when its advertising becomes illegally racist in the US, it is not preventing illegal wildlife trade advertising). The same applies to human trafficking. If it were not societally damaging, shifts in mass behaviour would have no way of producing such a dramatic shift in behaviour in terms of anti-social and anti-environmental crime. Yet this is willed trajectory the US has put itself on with the great reset, deliberately funneling the majority of its indiviudal consumer transaction to an unnacountable marketing monopoly platform that is protected from legal indemnity if it repeatedly sells you defective product that literally blows up in your face, something no store retailer can legally do. One of Amazon's market advantages over retail is based on a societal exploit designed to cause societal harm. The US's biggest behemoth monopolies (all social media tech, Microsoft included) it lauds as progress are, with any scrutiny of their market models, based on the profitting off of societal exploitation and degradation; -they indicate a late stage amoral economy marginalized to the recourse of literally cannibalizing itself it is so far past the stages of stagnation and decline it failed to come to terms with. Facebook's business model is the data mining of social interaction it sells (to Google, which was just a component in this set of antitrust lawsuits) absent mediation by any societal mores let alone regulation. It exists to furnish digital surveillance and modulation of society by neoliberal dictate, i.e., whatever societal modulation there is on Facebook's platform is due to corporate laws regulating its obligation to shareholder profits, governed by the amoral market. (Note Facebook had the gall to attack the first NGO attacking it as an illegal monopoly using anti-semitism accusations. Neoliberalism is so predictable.)
That this is the end trajectory is because societal destruction has been baked into its economic structure since inception (starting at the sanctioned commodification of slavery), because that's the actual existent, concomitent trajectory of a society predicated on the commodifcation of reproduction to furnish an infinite growth economy. I mean it doesn't take even seconds to register the concomitent outcomes of unleashing social media in the developing world in terms of real results in combination with the acceptance of online pornography (i.e., neoliberal feminism as ideology unleashed on the developing world via social media; -note how the concerted backlash against second wave feminism coincided quite perfectly with the advent of neoliberalism on the political front). The most egregious rape femicides in India immediately become India's most searched hashtags in real time in the hopes of finding uploaded films of actual porn snuff, because it is that big of a driving desire in Indian males. Facebook et al laud this as connecting the world. The integral relationship between deformity produced by amoral markets (monopoly driven ones) and sexual exploitation of female minors its not rocket science. It's a feature, not a bug.

It is an existential delusionary miasma so terminal it will succeed in creating the most destructive, apocalyptic failure of any civilization in all of human history, burned into our collective memory as the destruction of the planet. The weaponization of feminism is testament to what movements amoral capitalism has the need and priority to destroy to keep itself running. It's orginal existential bedrock is over-reproduction, which is contingent on the over exploitation of the unpaid labour of women. Its essential predication is the commodification of reproduction to produce global wage slavery of 90% of the human population, with a 10% wealthy consumer base, the most unequal paradigm amoral capitalism has ever succeeded in cooking up, in that it is imposed worldwide by force and terrorism using the US military. The >1% human population growth rate creates the terminal illusion that infinite economic growth is possible, -when it is designed to maximally exploit human labour by global depression of wages; -overpopulation is the fuel making humans the fodder, contingent on the massive over-reproduction of all the domestic animals we consume, to the point of the extirpation of all terrestrial mammalian vertebrate wildlife on earth (mammalian wildlife is down to <5% of the terriestrial vertebrate biomass on earth, with humans and the animals they domesticate (in the main to eat) being >95%).
The greater the conditions of inequality created by over-reproduction, the more wealth inequality you can harvest from the human condition. This is why actual feminism and amoral capitalism are absolutely antithetical to each other. This is why feminism is under massive attack to divert it into identity issues that avoid how over-reproduction is systemically enforced by acculturated male violence and overriding sexual entitlement (which in neoliberal political climates is in fact worsening, online pedophiia conviction rate included), and instead attacks feminists themselves, whereas the anti-racism movement is centered for its political utility only to curtail social movements and social activism into a perpetually attenuating reaguard action on a pureply domestic front, while feminism is under concerted massive attack by the oligarchy, to prevent female education from happening on a world scale, by giving it attributes designed to inherently marginalize it to the extent it will never become more broadly accepted on a global scale. It has been attenuated in the First World as well.
Female hormonal birth control is in essence for the benefit of men, not women, in that it is designed to let men have unlimited penetration of women for their sexual pleasure (ejaculation) without pregnancy risk (while women bear the collateral damage in terms of health side effects). Legalized abortion is also designed to furnish no modification in male sexual behavior, foisting the entire ethics issue into women's wombs and making abortion a "women's rights" issue as a societal price tag for (again), unlimited male ejaculations into vaginas. Abortion rights become the battleground, as opposed there being any question why males' ejaculations inside women for pleasure are entitled to a societal price tag of 60 million abortions (of unwanted pregnancies) in the US taking place inside women's wombs since Roe Vs. Wade. Yes, um, this is how we solve the issue of male sexual entitlement, as opposed questioning whether it should be limited in any way. Medical interventions exist so that men are off the hook for modifying their behaviour when it comes to sex. Women have separate organs for impregnation and sexual pleasure, which is by design meant to separate the two functions in order to avoid unwanted pregnancy. Men by biological design are driven to produce unwanted pregnancies, by their sexual organ being fused for both reproduction and sexual pleasure (orgasm=ejaculation), combined with their physical capacity to commit rape by physical overpowerment, which drives the sexual coercion of females. (The only modifier on this is behavioural/cultural, which is why neoliberalism wants a medicalized solution as opposed to a cultural behavioural one.) Therefore, abortion is just another barbaric solution to unlimited male sexual entitlement. The numbers defining unwanted pregnancies are dictated by unlimited male sexual performance for pleasure purposes inside female vaginas (despite this inherently risking pregnancy, as that is its purpose and function) with no behavioural modifiers. That is what abortion statistics represent, a drastic "final solution" on men's unwanted sexual behaviour. The resultant declining birth rate is a more accurate reflection of where women would prefer the birth rate to be, as they are the ones inordinately burdened by the lifetime investment of reproductive labour that goes into child rearing and elder care. The more barbaric human sexual relations are, the higher the reproductive human population growth rate in terms of overshoot will tend to be (without unlimited access to abortion).
Even with Roe vs. Wade, a staggering 51% of pregnancies in the US were unwanted as of 2008. What sort of cultural imbalance or impoverishment does there have to be to produce that statistic, as it is a sex based outcome? The only way you get unintended pregnancies is unwanted male ejaculation into women's vaginas, i.e., sex prioritizing male pleasure over the risk of unwanted pregnancy, which women do not want, because they bear the price of raising "unintended" pregnancies. Women can masturbate unlimitedly, orgasm unlimitedly, and not get pregnant. They are phycisally designed this way to avoid "unintended" pregnancy, -so WTAF? Do you need a bigger statistic to demonstrate the whole of society is geared to unlimited male sexual entitlement, no matter the societal price tag in terms of potential poverty risks (with alternately an abortion holocaust culling 40% of unwanted pregnancies), given the de facto overburdening and exploitation of the female sex every unwanted pregnancy represents? -Namely every single "unintended" pregancy represents the probability of a child's upbringing overburdening a woman in less than optimal conditions, with increased poverty being the most likely coefficient? If half your pregnancies are unintended or unwanted, that is the overwhelming predication of your society and culture. You literally want have your population to situationally exist in a more precarious state of potential poverty, -if all those "unintended" pregnancies did in fact go to term, then literally half your society is contingent on the over exploitation of female reproductive labour that is not sufficiently supported, but rather exploited. Therefore, half your population's very existence is in fact contingent on the invisible price tag of the over exploitation of women (were it not for the abortion rate attenuating this by aborting 40% of these unwanted pregnancies), which is in the same token the systemic overburdening of your entire society. Even 10% of your reproductive rate being contingent on the exploited labour of the women being forced to bear them is a massive figure. This is the invisible price tag exacted in women's unpaid reproductive labour. What any percentage of "unintended pregnancies" in demographics in fact represents, -each and every single unwanted pregnancy that proceeds to term, is an act of imposed excess female reproductive unpaid labour for the decades it takes to rear each child and provide elder care. It is a true metric of exploitation and it is overwhelmingly sex based. How much worse, then, is this statistic in the rest of the world? There is only one reason for this state of cultural affairs, and that is that the >1 exponential human population growth rate is a desired dictate of an amoral economy, in order to breed the necessary "surplus" to create maximal poverty for maximal wage slavery exploitation.
The more degraded family structure is (the more unwanted pregancies in poverty conditions), the more vulnerable a burgeoning population is for wage exploitation. (The more children's lives you ruin the better.) This is why amoral capitalism would sooner have a professed pussy grabber in power (Trump) than a democratic socialist (Sanders). Male sexual entitlement enforced by sexual barbarism is an inherent driver in amoral capitalism's delusion of "success". That is why you live in a pornified society with women being murdered, for example, in neoliberal UK by their partners three times a week, with no change to this statistic in the same number of decades the UK has been neoliberal (since Thatcher), but a drastic decrease in successful rape prosecution. -Not really a coincidence. All these neoliberal secular/fundamentalist "allies" are rape-tastic. Their ally-ship has more to do with the economy of slavery than anything else, be that sex based or slavery based. (Israeli apartheid conditions by design create an exploited, rights devoid workforce who are unable to leave. And some journalists are brave, including Canadian ones.) Note the similar patterning of the abuse of markets.
This is an inherent consequence of a society that surrenders society itself to modulation and dictation by amoral market forces. Amoral dictate of societal structure is in fact the evacuation of a society modulated by morals, meaning neoliberal dictate of society is in fact the destruction of society itself. The most pivotal behavioural societal modification in terms of the negotiation of sex is the development of civilized fatherhood. It is also, in terms of potential societal failure, arguably the most vulnerable point. Pornography and the legalization of prostitution trends in this light are more like intentional social napalm. They exist to enforce the bedrock subsistence of an exploitative amoral capitalist economy as a cultural maxim as unnoticed and essential as oxygen; the maximal commodification of female reproduction (livestock, and then women) that can possibly be achieved at maximal levels of cruelty.
Neoliberal policy making is market based policy making predicated on an amoral market. The infinite growth "market" is integrally dependent on the commodification of reproduction more than any other growth factor. It is a terminal growth factor. Neoliberalism (administered in Africa by the Gates Foundation) solves over-reproduction by dumping harmful big pharma drugs on uninformed, unconsenting women, -rather than addressing the failed economic system and the sexist culture an amoral economic system inherently drives. It offers market based panaceas rather than seeking to redress structural inequality and societal acculturated drivers of abuse. Its changes are profit driven and therefore cosmetic, because it only offers redress in order to enforce and actually increase the inherent evil baked into the status quo, by making inroads for monopolist economies into human health and agriculture to control the Global South, with Africa as the prize economy to control. That's the only reason the philanthrocapitalists are there. In fact:

Accident free essential services are a "complete waste of money".
-In Bill Gates' world, a 34% share profit in CN in the year 2013 is the result of degrading rail safety to the point that 47 people end up burned allive in an oil train explosion. In other words, having societal infrastructure systems that are sound enough to not kill people through systemic and gross negligence are a complete waste of money, and what he regards as optimal for rail systems' profit margins will prove decidedly unhealthy when applied to national health systems. There is substantial argument it already has.

"Bill Gates’ advocacy for legal immunity for drug manufacturers dates back to at least 2015, [....] He suggested that during a 'global epidemic,' drug companies should be indemnified to “avert long delays.'” There is legal indemnity for all COVID-19 vaccines, and the fast tracking of safety testing involved in one example means animal and human testing are being carried out simultaneously. Gates' patent control investment (in exhange for a $100 million grant to obtain it) in Moderna's COVID-19 vaccine is an mRNA vaccine.

In other words, Bill does healthcare much the way he does rail, and you will never hear press about the consequences. Philanthrocapitalism is neoliberalism's attempt to prevent social attenuation of social ills by cutting social reform off at the pass, by imposing the pretension that the US pharmaceutical monopolies spawned by amoral capitalism can somehow redress societal issues that are rooted in the catastrophic poverty the self same economic system produces by design.
If philanthrocapitalists wanted to save the planet, they'd concentrate on achieving drastic economic degrowth with the least amount of economic pain; -they'd concentrate on getting rid of the "unintended pregnancies" figure over in the over consuming West via real sex education and real cultural correction that was translatable as cultural correction globally in terms of sexual/cultural education they could then export on a world wide scale in terms of education; -they'd start addressing population management behaviourally in that critical 10% of the human population responsible for 50% of global resource consumption, who are truly responsible for killing the planet. They'd either address that 10% consumer population population wise, or do the real work of educating that population in terms of the existential necessity of degrowth of its resource and energy consumption. "Unintended pregnancies" are a "free" behavioural/cutural reform that costs society literally nothing, apart from modifying male ejaculation rates into female vaginas during the fertility window, but male sexual entitlement is curiously utterly sacrosanct when it comes to saving the planet. This cultural behavioural reform is free, that is, unless your economy is in fact predicated on a >1 human population growth rate, without which it will otherwise collapse.
They will never address degrowth (especially at the non-cost behavioural reform level, as this brings lifestyles predicated on extreme inequality into question, (au contraire, "fact based" Bill Gates will continue to lie about the green energy potential of biolfuels, when just this biofuel mandated shift by US consumers caused an environmental holocaust that obliterated a carbon sink and turned it into a net emitter; -not possible on a human population maxed out planet with no availabe arable cropland left, -just the affluenza overconsumers with no regard fro their carbon footprint are capable of killing the planet; Bill Gates has 10,000xs the carbon footprint of the average person just based on his flight stats alone; -how staggering would this energy inequality be if we calculated the electricity and energy throughputs on which his staggering wealth is predicated, such as a Windows 365 operating portal for every US student in public education, which goes to explaining the thrust of his Common Core initiative and desire to electrify all of Africa)), because that would entail recognizing the inherent, deadly failure of the present entire economic system in terms of its wealth inequality (consumer society 10% riding on the limitless exploitation of 90% of the human population and wholesale destruction of their natural environment). It would involve arriving at the conviction that the current economic system's primary wealth driver is maximal exploitation of the human and natural world through maximised differentials of the grossest exploitation (read natural destruction) it can get away with achieving. Meaning it isn't an economy so much as it is a collective existential death wish in terms of any quality of life.
The CN debacle in Canada is testament that this will indeed happen anywhere in any sector the plutocratic neoliberal monopolists can get away with it, and that its wealth generation is based on structural abuse of society as an economic exploit in any market it gains sway. You only have to look at the percent increase in CN rail accidents and the inestimable damage of each oil train explosion in 2013, the year Bill Gates made a 34% increase in share profits in CN. Unconscionable wealth making by the degradation of essential services (to the extent of corporate negligence producing mass death events), is not capable of turning around and giving back. It's only motive for the appearance of charity for poverty alleviation is to mask itself in public relations. It cannot be good and evil at the same time.
In fact population growth would not even be addressed as a societal issue by the capitalist oligarchy unless they'd recognized the human population overshoot to be truly terminal, so this is a matter of existential damage control while again attempting to preserve the unequal economic system that is the perpetrator by mitigation measures. They will humanize it enough in order to maintain it, in order to maintain control, weaponizing that as well to attack the global south, which they already are, while at the same time attacking feminism. Voila, feminism was magically attenuated (the Fuck-positive, fuckability=promiscuity, legalize prostitution '90's, plus railroading off the track into LGBTQ identity issues) the moment it had done the desired requisite damage on working wages in terms of worker vulnerability by potentially doubling the wage labour pool in "First World" countries. The US/First world decline in fertility rate does not disprove the dynamic because they are not the 90% of wage slaves in the world, where fertility rate is not declining because amoral capitalism is enforcing the bulk of the world's extreme poverty in order to maintain the state of inequality it can harvest and exploit, as opposed to helping it to proceed with development. The fact remains that since the US is the prime driver of planetary destruction in terms of consumption per capita (and if China or anywhere else achieves anything close to that in terms of per capita consumption, the planet will be well past dead), continued fertility decline is nothing but a corrective dynamic coming in at far too little, too late.
It is a cultural climate so hostile to female being, in terms of witnessing the total commodification of female reproduction (doesn't even have maternity leave, 30% cesarean rate, etc. ad infinitum), desire for children among females has tacked accordingly, mostly on cost/benefit analysis and the decline of living wage. Additionally, look at what its young males today consider relating.... ergo, the culture is modifying itself in corrective backlash so that even in population decline, the sexual repression of females in navigating reproduction preserves itself.
Meaning, if you lose the legal right to rape and beat a woman you're married to inside your own home (not illegal until very recent times in the US), you unleash a "culture" that makes undesired choking normative, says BDSM is a normal facet of sexual relations, makes porn an inundative commodity, makes sex work work, and so on and so forth, which is exactly what happened the moment the above became illegal within the marital context. Meaning you sanction the commodification of women via sexual repression as culturally sanctioned at large because men lost the legal right to abuse women and children at will within each and every home (with the legal ability to take the children away from any woman who dared to divorce). Namely, you acculturate daughters thus, “they just fell into this category where they victimized themselves", because victimization is that normalized within the culture, i.e., "the culture did a lot of the grooming for me". Basically you condition or "optimize" them so that weaponizing sexuality happens with the utmost ease at the world wide social media level where it cannot be erased, which is the present climate of sexting today, while making the global monopoly platforms facilitating this immune from any prosecution. This then overspills back into the real world in terms of real sex crime. In fact what the US unleashed in terms of the internets on the planet was arguably the most societally damaging legal and "cultural" structure they could have possibly hoped to have achieved while getting away with branding it as progress. And that's when you don't account for its lethal efficacy in toppling goverments they dislike. Syria and Libya were the targets of "Arab Spring". This vaulted the nation with the highest standard of living in Africa back to open air slave markets. Talk about progress.
You have to take on economic inequality first. But, you also have to realize the fuel for that fire is in fact exponential population growth, which is predicated on cultural bigotry towards women more than any other factor. (If it wasn't, they wouldn't have made a wholesale destruction of feminism in order to maintain control over reproductive rates.) If you address population growth (by female education and cutlural modification so women are not subject to a coercive and abusive culture when it comes to sex), you are in fact robbing economic inequality of its greatest driver. You can't raise populations out of poverty without dealing with the engrained cultural mechanisms designed to keep it there, which is cultures designed to maintain and enforce enough unwanted pregancies it produces a population desperate enough to be exploited. The present climate of cultural promulgation from the so called First Word to the so called Third is unleashing more societal damage than benefit on this front by design, aguably first and foremost by its designed utter failure as example.
